Homegrown Muthaz facilitates genuine insight and transformation for anyone with a sense that going beyond convention and common knowledge, opening up to one's inner resources and to others' goodness is the key to success. In addition - as perhaps illustrated by some posts on this site - HMOP's approach favors artistic vision, humor and a sense of community, essential to undertake this journey.
Homegrown Muthaz of the Great O.p.'s name reflects that everyone can discover his or her basic goodness (Homegrown)... that we are all mothers to our world, capable of nurturing it in boundless ways (Muthaz), and that we are committed and connected to the natural power and beauty of where we are right now: the Pacific Ocean (Great O.p.).
Homegrown muthaz founder Keith O. Daly received a post-graduate degree in Political and Social Communication from the Sorbonne and worked as an international public relations professional for seven years. In 2001, he started studying Shambhala Buddhism and meditation in the tradition of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. After various retreats Keith decided it was about time to stop selling people useless junk and explore more positive endeavors.
